Mona Bozdog graduated from a MLitt in Playwriting and Dramaturgy at Glasgow University (2013) and is currently working on an applied collaborative PhD (Abertay University, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, National Theatre of Scotland) where she is researching the connections between video games and immersive, site-specific performance.

Her staged work in Romania includes: Zero Db (The Very Little Theatre, Bucharest, 2012), TV for Dummies. A Performance for 100 Remote Controls (The National Theatre, Iasi, 2013), Bad Things (rehearsed reading, Carturesti, Cluj, 2013).

In Scotland her staged plays include: Shortcuts (Ankur Festival, CCA, staged reading, 2013), Bin Bags and Flip-Flops (Newsboy, Tron Theatre, staged reading, 2014), HeteROgeny or the Mathematics of Immigration (High Tide, London, staged reading, 2014), Lost in Transition (The Arches Live, Glasgow, 2014; Autopsy Award, Summerhall, Edinburgh Fringe, 2015).

She is interested in the areas where story, immersion and interactivity meet, where the writer becomes a designer that endows play spaces with interesting narrative potential.
